I had a wonderful stay at a charming cottage in Devon. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful holiday with access to all the attractions in the area. The cottage itself was carefully arranged with thoughtful touches and great facilities. I particularly loved the little nik naks and surprises hidden around the cottage, making it a delightful experience for both me and my daughter. The warm welcome and the welcome basket were lovely gestures that made us feel truly at home. The central position of the cottage made it convenient with shops and pubs just a short walk away. The parking space was a bonus, even though it might be a bit tricky for larger vehicles. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep, and the good Wi-Fi reception was a plus. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway in Devon.

I recently stayed at a delightful cottage in a charming village. The character and high quality renovations of the cottage were impressive. The cozy lounge with a stone fireplace and log burner was my favorite spot. The host, Nicole, provided a thoughtful welcome pack with essential items and even a taste of local cider. The locals in Winkleigh were friendly, and visiting the Mad Butcher and Kings Arms is a must. Exploring the nearby Moors with their picturesque villages and stunning scenery was a highlight. I highly recommend this cottage for a memorable stay.
There were a couple of minor issues, such as a fridge that didn't always close properly and a smaller bedroom door that opens in a way that blocks the first bedroom doorway. These small inconveniences didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of my stay.

The welcome pack and excellent communication from the owner were superb. The village itself is delightful, with a great pub serving delicious food and fun food vans visiting weekly. The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding area and the added bonus of free parking was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our break.

Felt like staying at a friend's home in beautiful Devon. The cottage was small, cosy, and beautifully furnished with everything we needed. The location in the middle of a charming village was ideal, with pubs, shops, and a Post Office just minutes away. The owner's thoughtful touches, like a welcome basket and treats for our dog, made us feel incredibly welcome. The cottage was well-equipped, clean, and comfortable, with fluffy towels and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area on sunny evenings and appreciated the information folder with tips for exploring the area. Key collection was seamless, and the owner, Nicole, was always available and incredibly helpful. The cottage was a perfect base for exploring both the North and South of Devon, with easy access to Dartmoor for beautiful walks. Despite a few minor niggles like cold heating on arrival and creaky stairs, the overall experience was fantastic. We highly recommend this cottage for a few days' break in Devon.

We stayed in Higher Primrose Cottage for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage has so much character and has been renovated to a very high standard. The lounge is cosy and inviting, with a huge stone fireplace and log burner. Our host, Nicole, thought of everything we needed, including a lovely welcome pack with local produce. We also loved the unique touch of pebbles provided for us to decorate and leave at the property or hide during our travels.

The location of the cottage is absolutely perfect, situated in the center of a charming village. the village itself has a great pub and friendly shops. the cottage is well-equipped, with thoughtful touches like night lights and hidden toys in the children's room. the warmth of the welcome and the attention to detail exceeded our expectations.
The double mattress was a bit too soft for our liking, resulting in backaches.
